We are looking for people for the checkout and the warehouse
GiaoGiao Market is the Asian and Italian grocery of Florence, at Via Lippi e Macia 49/A, in Novoli. People shop in store, pick up the orders they placed online, and we deliver across Florence with Glovo and Deliveroo. We are open Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 21:00. We are hiring for two roles: one at the checkout, one in the warehouse.
The two roles

Checkout
You are the first and the last person our customers meet.
Ring up the shopping and handle payments, cash and card
Hand over online orders to the people coming to collect them in store
Sign customers up to the Club card and register the points on their shopping
Keep the checkout area tidy and restock the shelves around it
Give a hand to anyone looking for something: where a product is, what it is, how to cook it
Availability to work shifts from Monday to Saturday (we are closed on Sundays and public holidays)
Good Italian; Chinese is very useful with both customers and suppliers, and English is appreciated
Care with numbers, quantities and dates
For the warehouse, being able to move parcels and to stay on your feet through the shift
A team mindset: we are a small shop, everyone gives a hand
